Civil Municipal Engineer

In this very exciting role, the qualified candidate will be an important member of the local Technical Team. Major duties include leading diverse civil project and providing detailed design support in production of engineering designs drawings and specifications. This candidate will be focused on coordinating and meeting all client and approval agency requirements.

Job Duties:
- Envision, manage and carry out municipal engineering for various types of civil projects, from proposal stage through commissioning of the work
- Work to coordinate and assist in the preparation of documents required for approvals, prepare development and construction cost estimates, tender documents and contracts
- Coordinate with other team members to ensure schedules, budgets and quality control standards are achieved
- Develop new business opportunities and establish strategic relationships with key clients, agencies and partners
- Develop and design proposals for project bid submissions
- Support branch development of junior staff and oversee design details

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of previous related work experience
- Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university
- Registration in good standing as a P.Eng
- Previous experience within a Consulting firm
- Solid understanding of AutoCAD and Civil3D
- Experience working with and for all government levels
