Civil Project Engineer

Here is an exciting new opportunity as a Civil Project Engineer in a remote position for our client, an innovative and technology-led engineering firm for their location in Vancouver, BC! In this role, the Civil Project Engineer will work with like-minded individuals to take part in planning and executing projects through the phases of engineering projects!

Job Duties:
• Responsible for the engineering of projects through organizing and coordinating through the entire project life cycle.
• Review project scope and plans to create project goals and objectives and determine quality engineering design criteria through performance standards and objectives.
• Collaborate with clients and the company to understand client expectations and goals
• Monitor and regulate project plans by reviewing performance expectations, design criteria, etc.
• Review designs to determine specific equipment required
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline related to the scope of work of the role
• Registered as a Professional Engineer in British Columbia and/or registered/ eligible to register as a Professional Engineer in other Canadian Provinces
• Minimum 5 years of engineering experience
• Should have experience with Civil 3D software, BlueBeam, and Microsoft office suite.
• Experience in storm water design, water system design, site grading, and drainage design is required
• Experience in Ports and Marine industry is considered an asset
