Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations, environmental requirements, operating permits, and quality standards.
- Coordinate activities between operations, maintenance, logistics, and quality teams to ensure seamless facility performance.
- Act as a key liaison between plant personnel and leadership, ensuring clear communication and alignment on operational priorities.
- Monitor plant performance, analyze operating data, and implement process improvements.
- Develop, review, and maintain operating procedures and best practices to support safe and efficient operations.
- Lead daily refinery operations to achieve production, quality, safety, environmental, and cost objectives.
- Support process troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and the planning and execution of plant shutdowns and turnarounds.
- Preform additional tasks as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in refinery, petrochemical, chemical manufacturing, or industrial processing,
- Strong technical knowledge of continuous process manufacturing and refinery operations.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments.
- Experience managing operational budgets and controlling production-related costs.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and employee development skills with the ability to motivate and influence teams.
- Proven ability to analyze data, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement effective solutions.
- Demonstrated experience managing production teams and driving operational performance.
