Client is looking for a Lead Structural Engineer to grow the CSA department.
Requirements/Qualification:
- Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in Civil Engineering.
- Accredited ten (10) years of work-related experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
- Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
- Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
- Certified in OSH by Ministry of HRSD
- Knowledge of applicable local and national codes and regulations (e.g., Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu, SBC, etc.)
- Knowledge of international codes (e.g., ACI, AISC, ASCE, UBC, PIP, etc.) and Client standards (e.g., SABIC, Aramco, Shell, etc.) related to Structural works.
Hands-on experience
- Modularization, including transportation & lifting analyses
- Hand and computer calculations for foundations, concrete, and steel structures
- Analysis of complex structures
- Wind and seismic loading in structural calculations
- Computer modeling and analysis using leading industry software (e.g., STAAD.Pro, RISA3D, SAP2000, etc.)
- Connection design
- Vendor drawing review, interdisciplinary review (squad checking)
- Lead engineer (managing large groups)
