Role accountabilities:

• Providing Technical advice for all aspects of civil design including bulk earthworks, roadworks, drainage, construction staging, constructability, and interfaces with other disciplines.
• Develop technical and feasibility studies and development of drawings that satisfy technical specifications.
• Design coordination for selected projects or components of projects, collaborating with other design disciplines to ensure the integrity of the overall design.
• Managing effective stakeholder relationships, both internally and externally
• Providing direction to the project team and promoting awareness of technical and commercial risk assessments and mitigation and best value design options.
• Working with junior engineers, designers and drafters and guiding them in delivery and their professional development.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Extensive civil engineering experience delivering resource and infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated technical acumen with proven experience of managing and delivering design solutions.
• Record of accomplishment in effective cross-discipline project delivery and an effective collaborator with all key engineering disciplines
• A collaborative approach and appreciation of the value of teamwork.
• A passion for continuous improvement, quality and improving service for our clients.
• High attention to detail, good analytical and communication skills.
