Location: Ladson, SC
Employment Type: Permanent, Direct Placement
Shift: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd
Compensation: $25–$40/hour (based on experience) + shift differential + overtime opportunities

Job Summary
The Machine Operator will safely control various machines and equipment involved in production. The CNC Milling Machinist is responsible for safely operating CNC milling equipment to produce high‑quality parts that meet customer specifications. This role plays a key part in maintaining production efficiency, accuracy, and overall product quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CNC milling machines in accordance with engineering prints, work orders, and established specifications.
- Produce parts to required tolerances and quantities; promptly report any deviations to a supervisor or the Quality Manager.
- Perform machine-level adjustments to ensure parts meet blueprint and quality requirements.
- Use precision measuring tools to inspect finished components for dimensional accuracy, functionality, and cosmetic standards.
- Maintain accurate production logs, including documentation of scrap, rework, and machine performance.
- Conduct pre‑operation inspections to verify proper machine setup, alignment, and readiness.
- Perform routine maintenance and minor adjustments to keep equipment in optimal working condition.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company and OSHA standards.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support production goals.
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Ability to follow instructions, work collaboratively, and communicate effectively.
- Familiarity with CNC machine programming or willingness to learn.
- Solid understanding of production equipment and machining processes.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and environmental regulations.
- Associate degree or completion of a machining/apprenticeship program preferred.
- Minimum of one year of CNC machining or related manufacturing experience required.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks involving bending and stooping.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Sufficient visual acuity to read instructions, operate machinery, and inspect finished parts.
