CNC Programmer

"TRS has an exciting opportunity for a CNC Programmer that will be responsible for working with machinery which cuts raw materials into functional items. You will be responsible for interpreting project blueprints, designing programs and setting up machines to produce the component outlined in the program. This role will be based in Botswana with strong experience required in HAAS VF3 Milling Machine and a HAAS ST20 machine."

Job Duties and Responsibilities include:

• Works with Machinery which cuts raw materials into functional items
• Responsible for reading and interpreting design blueprints.
• Programming the CNC multi axis machine and adjusting the machine setting until the desired specifications are met.
• Programs and Operate HAAS CNC multi axis machines ( Mill & Mette) to manufacture drill rigs parts
• Knowledge and training to model and manufacture drill rig parts using CAD KAM (Solid works)

Qualification and Skills Requirements:

• CNC Multi Axis Training is a must
• 8 Years experience as a CNC programmer
• Trade Certificate in Tool, Jig and Die Maker
• First Aid experience will be considered
• 6 months of Hydraulics experience
• Project Management experience will be considered
• Academic Knowledge of and practical experience in engineering
