Commercial Admin

We are seeking a Commercial Administrator, primarily ssisting in the commercial department gathering documents and uploading for bids. 

The role will be based in Doha, Qatar.

Duties and responsibilities

• Responsible for Updating Global Vessels database.
• Maintenance of database system for enquiries, clients, contracts and offers.
• Responsible for opening and maintaining contract files.
• Responsible for recording on/off hire times of vessels and ensuring related contract information is received in a timely manner, recorded, and filed.
• Tender/Bid/Contract administration, preparation, and submission.
• Preparation of commercial material (Presentation, Specifications……)
• Preparation of market availability of vessels.
• Issuing commercial information, preparation of letters and general correspondence.
• Coordination with ship owners and PS departments for bid preparation.
• Assisting in market research and competitor analysis.

Qualifications

• Preferably someone working within the Shipping and Maritime industry.
• Able to work as part of a team and demonstrate ability to changing demands.
• Good decision making and analytical skills.
• Be well organised and be able to prioritise work effectively.
• Computer literate with good working knowledge of MS Office: Outlook, Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint.
• Excellent command of the English language.
