Our client is one of the leading consultancies in the Aviation, Infrastructure and Utilities sectors. As a result of new awards we are recruiting for aCommercial Managers to be based in the Midlands
This is to work on HS2
This is an excellent opportunity with great career progression. Salary is £50-75,000+ excellent benefits.

You will have knowledge and/or experience of the following:
• Applying Value Management technique
• Managing estimating and cost planning activities to include taking ownership of and presenting the final cost plan
• Managing the procurement process
• Ensuring that post-contract cost variances and change control processes are managed effectively
• Ensuring that cost checking and valuation work is managed effectively
• Ensuring the production of monthly post-contract cost reports and presenting them to the client
• Value engineering and life cycle costing
• Ensuring that final accounts are negotiated and agreed
• Taking a lead role in interfacing with the client and other consultants, at all project stages
• Determining and evaluating compensation events
• Claims and Disputes.

You must have strong experience of:
• NEC3 Contract
• Rail/Airport/Water/Utilities/Infrastructure experience.

Ideally you will have a relevant Degree and be RICS qualified
