Ready to take your career to the next level and gain international experience? Our global client in the Oil & Gas sector is seeking a Commissioning Manager for the NFPS EPC3 Project. In this role, you will lead and coordinate activities related to pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up, test runs, training, maintenance engineering, operations, and the final handover of the plant to the client. You will ensure all tasks meet contractual requirements and project objectives for safety, quality, budget, and schedule. This position is based at the Karimun Yard in Indonesia.

Mission:
  • Ensure compliance of the site activities for which is responsible with the established process and HSE requirements, while respecting the relative time and cost targets.
  • Have overall responsibility and accountability for the efficient Commissioning/Operations/Maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Commissioning and Start-up phase:
  • Contribute to Safety Walkdowns. In case of incidents contribute to investigations.
  • Participate to Pre Start-up Safety Reviews (PSSR).
  • Manage Pre-Comm, Comm, Start-up & Oper activities, coordinating different parties.
  • Participate to plant handover process including preparation of Comm Dossiers.
  • Operation Phase:
  • Responsible/Accountable for Prod Safe/efficient operations.
  • Implement/maintain SMS, a Planned Maint System on Prod Equip according to Company SMS.
  • Arrange through Company for periodic internal/external SMS audits.
  • Ensure that the project under requirements of the national, international Laws (Classification society, IMO, Solas, ISPS code, MARPOL etc.) comply with the relevant regulation.
  • Ensure proper verification by the ISM overriding authority onboard of the vessels on the works relating to and affect safety and pollution prevention.
  • Maintain continuous review of performance of Prod Equip and take corrective actions where performance falls below required/agreed standards.
  • Obtain all necessary technical/professional support for Operations in liaison with BL functions, Client, Local technical support, Consultants, Manufacturers, Vendors, Contractors.
  • Coordinate/support Prod Facilities emergency situations together with corporate dept/Client.
  • Pre-Operation Phase:
  • Prepare the Pre-comm, Comm and Start-up Plan.
  • Prepare Licensor/Vendors schedule and assignment concerning the Comm Start-up and Test run activities.
  • Liaise with the HR for appropriate execution of crew phase-in and crew training.
  • Timely review in liaison with corporate depts all oper/safety procedures/manuals.

Qualifications and Skills Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related field) or Construction Management.
  • 15+ years of experience in commissioning and start-up activities within the Oil & Gas sector.
  • Proven track record in EPC projects, preferably offshore or large-scale onshore facilities.
  • Experience with rotating equipment, utilities, and complex plant systems.
