TRS Staffing is looking for a Construction Engineer with Pharmaceutical experience, to work on a large pharmaceutical project taking place in Denmark. Pharmaceutical experience is a requirement, with HVAC experience being beneficial. The position will be worked full-time (Monday-Friday) from the project location. This is an initial 1 year contract position.
Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and review estimates and schedules, progress reports, including manpower forecasts.
Develop and review project Scope of Services, Scope of Facilities, and other project baseline documents for construction phase of project.
Check HVAC and Utilities calculations, specify HVAC and Utilities equipment. Develop and Lead PFD’s, PID’s, Consumer list.
Participate in activities associated with HVAC equipment and material procurement, permitting, and subcontracting.
Ensure accurate, comprehensive, and timely project reporting, including completion and distribution of the final close-out report.
Supervise the execution and start-up of pharmaceutical project.
Solving technical issues during the execution of the project.
Establish, track, and monitor material key quantities; provide analysis and forecasts.
Maintaining professional relationships with clients and suppliers network.
Interface with client representatives: project, planning, process and instrument engineers, operations and maintenance to align contract requirements and expectations.
Interface with Fluor discipline engineers to develop interdisciplinary drawings and specifications.
Basic Job Requirements
Previous Construction Engineer experience in Life Sciences / Pharmaceutical projects.
Technical knowledge in design, sizing, and selection of HVAC systems including, but not limited to air handling, refrigeration, and ventilation systems.
Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors.
Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local requirements and guidelines.
Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner.
Willingness to travel within Europe to support the Advanced Technology & Life Science Projects.
