This position performs work requiring advanced knowledge which is predominantly intellectual in character and which routinely exercises discretion and judgment. The advanced knowledge is in a field of science or learning and gained through a prolonged course of specialized intellectual instruction, experience, and expertise acquired in the field.

Support the construction efforts by providing technical support to craft and supervision as well as helping to satisfy quality requirements on the project. Initiate action when necessary to ensure the project is being built as specified in the scope of work.


Requirements / Must haves:
• Construction Management degree or global equivalent
• Typically has eight (8) plus years of project experience
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Basic or intermediate computer and software skills to include the use of word processing and email as well as the basic or intermediate use of spreadsheets

Job Duties:
• Evaluate, select, and apply standard construction engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria, using solid engineering judgment in making decisions
• Perform work involving conventional types of plans, investigations, surveys, structures, or equipment with relatively complex features for which precedents exist
• Supervise or coordinate the work of engineers, technicians, and other personnel who provide assistance on specific assignments
• Remain knowledgeable of requirements for applicable codes and standards on a project
• Assist craftsmen, foremen, and project supervision with regard to construction-related issues identified on drawings
• Coordinate system completion and turnover with regard to start up activities for assigned systems
• Prepare field material take-offs as well as initiate and prepare requisitions for the procurement of services, materials, and equipment necessary to support the project schedule
• Coordinate the completion of construction activities in assigned systems and prepares punch lists to ensure the readiness of systems for release for turnover to the client or for start up
• Coordinate the preparation and revision of technical work procedures consistent with project design and construction requirements
• Analyze and make independent recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity in accordance with organization and/or project objectives and guidelines
• Organize and prioritize a variety of projects and multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner, set priorities, and meet deadlines
• Plan and organize own work assignments, as well as carry out tasks from management staff
• Effectively develop and apply the Core Skills to the job
• Meet expectations on attendance and punctuality
