JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Oversee that all work is performed in accordance with approved manuals and procedures.
- Oversee that the project is constructed and documented in accordance with the contract documents and good engineering practices
- Coordinates and monitors schedule and in compliance with codes, within time, cost, quality assurance, safety and environmental conformance to contribute to the efficiency of projects in the execution phase.
- Review weekly and monthly reports on the status and progress of the contracts, including project costs and potential changes.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors or Master of Engineering in Civil will be an advantage, and an additional qualification in Construction Management is preferred.
- Registered as a Professional Engineer with recognised professional bodies.
- Registered with a Project and Construction Management Professional body as a Professional Contracts Manager.
- Minimum 12-15 years of project construction and engineering experience required.
- Working knowledge of JBCC, GCC, FIDIC and NEC forms of contract.
- Experience with large infrastructure construction sites and mega multi-year projects.
- Working knowledge of Build smart and CCS.
