Our client is seeking a control systems engineer with Process Control Narrative Experience. The role is based in Hampshire, UK, on a hybrid basis and 9-day fortnight.they are looking to develop a MAC (Main Automation Contractor) subcontract and need the support of a strong control systems engineer who can develop the MAC requisition / scope of work, then work through technical bid evaluation and be the responsible engineer for the MAC package post-award.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed control system design documents, including P&IDs, control narratives, and functional specifications.
  • Select and configure control system hardware and software components.
  • Participate in the development and testing of control system programs.
  • Collaborate with process engineers, electrical engineers, and other disciplines to ensure a comprehensive and integrated control system design.
  • Develop and implement control system integration plans.
  • Provide ongoing technical support for the control systems after commissioning.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in control system technologies relevant to battery material production.
  • Knowledge of Siemens PLC
