For one of our clients in Rotterdam, we are recruiting hands-on Customer Service Representative.
Our client offers customers around the globe an extensive portfolio of edible oils and fats, from commodities to specialties, as well as superior technical support. The client owns and operates a specialty oils and fats facility and a palm refinery in Hamburg, Germany, as well as tropical oils processing plants in Brake, Germany and Rotterdam, the Netherlands. It also manages raw materials sourcing, trading, sales and marketing operations.
As a Customer Service Representative, order handling and contract management are part of your daily responsibilities. You handle customer’s requests throughout the Outbound Supply Chain and voice-back relevant information towards the Sales team and other departments. You will be the dedicated contact person for customers for everything that relates to the execution of their orders. You are responsible for your own portfolio and in this way, you will develop extensive relationships with your customers. Are you intrigued by this short description? You are the first point of contact for our customers. You make sure that everything is organized. Their customers are our main focus. You will do whatever it takes to service the customers as good as possible and establish and maintain a good relationship..
Order entry and maintenance in the ERP system are a huge part of your work which requires a lot of accuracy.
Customer order patterns and supply chain metrics need to be analyzed, to look for solutions and optimize them.
You work close with other departments such as Sales, Quality Assurance and Finance. There is also a close cooperation with the Logistic Service Provider on the loading and delivery schedule. From time to time you will assist colleagues on visits to customers or business partners. For this position we are looking for a colleague who is a real team player, has a commercial attitude and a high level of accuracy. You have a bachelor’s degree or equaling level trough work experience. You have experience in a service driven B2B environment. You have the ability to cope with stress and unpredictable situations. Given the International nature of the company a good command of the English language is required + additional French, German, Spanish or Italian.
