The position is primarily responsible for partnering with the Finance Director on Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), US GAAP financial reporting, fixed asset accounting, and supporting statutory compliance requirements in India.


Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of US GAAP, Indian GAAP, and Cost Accounting Standards.
  • Prepare and submit the Annual Operating Plan, along with monthly and quarterly forecasts and related management reports.
  • Manage monthly close of US GAAP books, including analysis and reporting, in line with corporate timelines and policies.
  • Oversee fixed asset accounting, including capitalization reviews and depreciation accounting under both US GAAP and Indian GAAP.
  • Ensure adherence to internal financial controls, corporate policies, and applicable local regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with external consultants to ensure compliance with Indian corporate laws and related statutory requirements.
  • Lead and support the successful completion of statutory, tax, and internal control audits.
  • Recommend and implement accounting policies, procedures, and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Perform financial and cost analysis as required to support management decision-making.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost and Management Accountant (CMA).
  • 4–6 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills in English.
  • Proven ability to multitask effectively and work under tight deadlines.
  • Strong computer skills, with advanced proficiency in MS Excel and working knowledge of MS Word and PowerPoint.
  • Mandatory experience working in an integrated ERP environment.
  • Prior exposure to Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and QAD is preferred.
