DevOps Engineer

Here is an exciting opportunity to join our client, a software development organization, located in the beautiful area of Calgary, AB as a DevOps Engineer. You would be at work within a company that has operations throughout the world.

The successful candidate will be involved with designing key tools that assist clients in making decisions in the engineering, energy, and environmental fields. In this role, the qualified candidate will be collaborating with the development team for solutions within the geotechnical field. Further to this, the successful candidate will improve existing software and actively engage with clients to understand their needs and create new solutions tailored to their needs.

Job Duties:
• Provide innovative ideas to make the deployment systems better for the software products and actively engage in maintenance work to manage processes
• Investigate and develop tools and techniques for DevOps processes
• Mentor and educate other staff members on DevOps
• Build a good working relationship with the global development teams and other clients

Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Must have 3+ years of experience with cloud infrastructure
• Must have experience with Terraform and/or Kubernetes and cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, etc.
• Outstanding communication skills – written and verbal
