We are looking for a proven Dredging Project Manager to manage and deliver complex dredging projects in Abu Dhabi. This role will take ownership of all project phases, including planning, resource coordination, operational oversight, and ensuring full compliance with environmental and safety standards. The successful candidate will drive performance, maintain quality, and achieve project objectives within budget and schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed dredging project plans, including scope, schedule, and resource allocation.
- Ensure projects are executed safely, on time, and within budget.
- Supervise dredging operations, including equipment deployment and crew coordination.
- Monitor progress and resolve operational challenges promptly.
- Manage subcontractors and suppliers involved in dredging activities.
- Prepare and manage project budgets.
- Track expenditures and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure alignment of project objectives.
- Provide regular updates and reports on project status.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure contingency plans are in place for operational disruptions.
- Lead and motivate project teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Skills Requirements:
- Bachelor’s and or Master’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent professional qualification
- 12 to 15 years of experience with Dredging & Reclamation projects on capital dredging, not limited to maintenance dredging.
