Location: Rotterdam
Start date: ASAP, Q4 2026
The Senior Cost Engineer is responsible for the verification, consolidation of accurate estimates, effective management, and reliable control of project costs throughout the project lifecycle. This role involves developing and controlling cost estimates, analyzing cost variances, and ensuring that projects are completed within approved budgets.
The Cost Engineer collaborates with project managers, engineers, finance teams, and other stakeholders to provide financial insights and support effective decisionmaking.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or a related field.
- A professional certification (e.g., AACE, PMP, CCE) is a plus.
Experience
- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in cost engineering, project cost control, or a similar role.
- Experience in construction, engineering, oil & gas preferred.
