We are recruiting an experienced Dredging Works Manager to oversee and deliver major dredging projects in Abu Dhabi. This role will be responsible for managing all aspects of project execution, including planning, resource allocation, operational oversight, and ensuring compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed dredging work plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and equipment requirements.
- Ensure alignment with overall project objectives and deadlines.
- Supervise dredging operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with technical specifications.
- Implement risk mitigation strategies for marine operations.
- Prepare and manage project budgets, tracking costs against forecasts.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization without compromising quality.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams to maintain clear communication and resolve issues.
- Provide regular progress reports and updates to stakeholders.
- Oversee allocation and maintenance of dredging equipment and resources.
- Ensure timely availability of materials and machinery for uninterrupted operations.
Qualifications and Skills Requirements:
- Bachelor’s and or Master’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent professional qualification
- 10 to 12 years of experience with Dredging & Reclamation projects on capital dredging, not limited to maintenance dredging.
