“TRS is urgently looking for an E&I Construction Specialist is to oversee and direct all field construction activities for the Control and Instrumentation and Electrical interfaces as per specifications, drawings and design and schedules join our Client’s Engen Project team based in DURBAN.”

• Provides construction site expertise during construction phases of projects to interpret designs, oversee construction supervision, and provide final approval of completed construction tasks to ensure construction conforms to design specifications. Develop and maintain construction practices for the project. Control and coordinate construction activities to ensure assigned projects are delivered to the Clients satisfaction and according to safety, quality, time and budget parameters.
• To maintain collaborative and close work relationships with the multi-disciplinary Project Site Teams in carrying out the business objectives of the Worley Construction Unit in a cost-effective manner.
• . Specialist in instrumentation & process control, distribution control maintenance and have extensive PLC & DCS knowledge.
• This position will direct the work activities within the assigned construction discipline and align with engineering deliverables and materials.
• Analyse and make recommendations regarding solutions to problems, aligning with engineering.
• Good experience with Honeywell and other Control Systems.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIREMENT
• Accredited Degree / Post graduate qualification in Construction Management.
• 20+ years industry experience, preferably in the Oil & Gas sector.
• 5-10 years of experience as a site supervisor (Instrumentation & Electrical) on a refinery project site.
• Electrical installation project environment experience advantageous.
