TRS Staffing are excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for an EHS Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity with plenty of growth opportunities.
As EHS Manager, you are responsible for implementing the EHS policy.
A BRZO company that works from a solid EHS basis to realize ambitious goals for environment, health and safety, which go beyond laws and regulations. Many stakeholders closely monitor the company.
You will lead a team of specialists who support local production in achieving the EHS objectives, monitoring healthy and safe working conditions in accordance with the Risk Inventory and Evaluation (RI&E), complying with the legal frameworks and standards, initiating improvement projects (PDCA) and monitoring support for the environment, health and safety within the organization.
The role will see you strengthen the EHS policy aimed at the continuous improvement of a safety culture that fits ambition of top-quartile safety performance. You have different (internal) target groups and will have to continuously adapt your message to this.
Your responsibilities include:
• Draw up, monitor and (have) implemented the organization's EHS policy
• Organizing and conducting safety inspections, internal audits and audits at other sites.
• Supervising external inspections/audits by governments and independent auditors
• Advising on safe and healthy working in the field of chemical, physical, physical and biological aspects and monitoring potential workplace risks
• Updating and/or checking, among others, RI&E (risk assessment and evaluations), VR (Safety Report), PBZO (Prevention Policy Major Accidents) and MRA (Environmental Risk Analysis)
• Obtaining, maintaining, and managing ISO certifications and RC14001® RESPONSIBLE CARE
• Advising stakeholders and consulting with leaders of the various factories and other stakeholders both inside and outside the company.
• Develop and implement management measures to promote a safe working environment for employees and its contractors.
• Analyzing EHS issues and drawing up improvement plans, including incident research and implementation of "lessons learned" and sharing "best practices" within the business and industry networks
• Encouraging and increasing support for EHS policies within the organisation include:
• Providing training and renewing training and training materials
• Updating, simplifying and renewing decoy procedures
• Delivering EHS customization in dialogue with the factories
• Pay attention to behavior
• Further develop team members so that the team:
• Widely employable and team members strengthen each other
• Contributes in terms of content to the renewal of corporate EHS standards
Your profile:
This includes the following qualifications:
• You have completed a relevant technical training at a minimum Bachelor level.
• Training in one or more of the EHS areas such as HVK or Labour Hygiene is an advantage
• You have experience in an industrial environment.
• You have a good analytical ability and you are able to bring continuous improvement proposals to the attention of management.
• You have developed the role of advisor and influencing the entire organization to a large extent.
• You have communication skills and tailor your approach to your audience, from the shop floor to the management of the different factories.
• You pick up the signals from the factories and from the management and thus continuously improve the policy in order to adapt it to the changing world.
