Electrical and Instrumentation Manager, Sales

The Opportunity

Our client, an International industry leader in the Oil & Gas sector is looking for an Electrical & Instrumentation Manager in Grande Prairie, AB to join their team. This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to further progress their career in midstream facility construction, industrial maintenance support, plant shutdowns and turnarounds, field construction and project management sector. The ideal candidate will have 5 – 7 years previous experience in the industry, with a strong desire to meet client commitments and pursue future growth opportunities in the company’s E&I business.

Responsibilities

• Highly safety orientated fostering previous experience in zero incident safety cultures: programs, policies, and initiatives
• Provide sale support and growth opportunities for business growth with potential new clients and community involvement; trade shows, networking events, business associations and developing business strategies.
• Strong financial forecasting and budgetary knowledge; short and long term forecasting.
• Strong relationship building, estimating projects and costs and project management support; scheduling, planning

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician or Electrical Engineering background is desired
• Previous experience leading a team of project managers
• Highly entrepreneurial and big picture thinking
• Experience with technical drawings and specifications; materials, estimating, and cost
• High level of knowledge within safety and procedures
• E & I trade knowledge in materials, QAQC, code and best practices.
