Summary:
The Electrical Project Engineer is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems for offshore wind farms. This includes the design of power systems, control systems, and electrical safety systems. The Electrical Project Engineer will also work with other engineers to ensure that the electrical systems meet the requirements of the offshore wind farm.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement electrical systems for offshore wind farms
Perform electrical engineering calculations
Prepare electrical engineering drawings and specifications
Conduct electrical safety assessments
Work with other engineers to ensure that the electrical systems meet the requirements of the offshore wind farm
Stay up-to-date on the latest electrical engineering technologies
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
5+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on offshore wind farms
Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and practices
Experience with electrical design software
Experience with electrical safety assessments
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
