Job Description
Candidate shall have complete understanding of quality requirement related to Electrical work at site. Candidate should be able to prepare all electrical FQP & all relevant checklist for site implementation. The personnel shall be responsible for quality of electrical work of utility scale renewable (solar & wind) energy.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Performs following functions including but not limited to:
- Create, process, complete and maintain accurate electrical quality documentation and records associated with the Projects.
- Should have complete understanding of in-process testing like insulation test, HV test, earth test etc.
- Understanding IS1255 requirements.
- Understanding of IS3043 requirements.
- Understanding of IS/ IEC62271 requirements.
- Understanding of IS 2026 requirements.
- Understanding of IS 7098 all parts requirements.
- Should be able to prepare all FQP for electrical work.
- Co-ordinate with contractor for FQP agreements preparation of all checklists in line with FQP requirement.
- Review of MTC of all raw materials as per design / std requirement.
- Should be familiar with Transformer installation, HT breaker installation, Cable laying, earthing works etc.
- Co-ordination with contractor in case of non-conformity for further RCA.
- Conduct the site quality training for internal team and to the contractor.
- Ensure and perform site quality verification inspections and maintain job specific meetings minutes & necessary logs.
- Daily site quality works as per approved QAP.
- Identification & records of deviations/ observation/ NCs
- Communication to internal and external (contractors) related to weekly observation/ NCs.
- Follow-up to interested parties for site non-conformity closer.
- Weekly & monthly reporting on non-conformity status.
- Contractor wise record maintenance for contractor performance evaluation.
- Resolution of construction quality from site and visit the as on when required.
- Identify preventive actions for continual improvement
Qualification and Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Engineering (Electrical) from Institute of repute.
- 4-6 years of experience in site electrical quality and implementation of relevant QC/QA documentation.
- Expertise and knowledge of Renewable Industry norms and standards including IS/IEC.
- Better written communication.
