"TRS is urgently looking for an Offshore Engine Room Technician to be a part of our International Client's FPSO CIDADE DE VITORIA Vessel Project team based Offshore BRAZIL."

JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Responsible for safe watch keeping, control and maintenance of engine room mechanical equipment and propulsion equipment.
• Maintain routine documentation as required by Company.
• Whenever required, act as MS (maintenance supervisor) or BOX (ballast control operator) as defined in IMO resolution A. 1079 (28).
• Report to 2nd Engineer.

QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
• Accredited Tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in related field of work.
• Minimum 5 years FPSO Experienced as 3rd Engineer or, minimum 10 years Super Tanker or Crude oil tanker experience.
• Must have valid STCW III/1 Unlimited COC with DCE.
• FPSO (with steam plant) experience is a must.
• International experience in Angola, Africa, Brazil is a plus.
• Experience with Total, SHELL, Saipem, SONANGOL, BP is a plus.
• Must have BOSIET / OPITO approved.
