"TRS is looking for an ENVIRONMENTAL LEAD to ensure execution and coordination of activities and studies for the environmental compatibility of Onshore and Offshore projects for our international client’s Projects based in SAUDI ARABIA."
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Ensure consistency of Project design with customers environmental objectives, contractual requirements and applicable regulations
- Ensure execution and coordination of activities and studies for the environmental compatibility of onshore and offshore projects consistently with project budget and schedule.
- Manage and supervise the following activities and deliverables:
- Project Environmental design criteria and management plans
- Noise Studies/modellings
- Air quality Studies/modellings
- Fugitive emission estimations (VOC and GHG)
- Best Available Technology benchmark assessments
- Pollutant dispersion in water bodies studies
- Environmental Monitoring Plans
- Coordinate and follow-up EIA procedures and other environmental authorization procedures for Authorities.
- Manage interface with Client, other JV Contractors, and local authorities in developing environmental activities.
- Provide Environmental support to technical and commercial bid activities.
QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
- Master degree in Chemical / Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science or equivalent.
- Minimum Ten (10) plus years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Deep Knowledge and control of international regulations concerning environment.
- Experience in International Environmental Permitting activities.
- Experience in environmental emissions assessments (noise, air, GHG, effluents).
- Well-established knowledge of noise and air quality aspects. Practical knowledge of predictive models is recommended.
