"TRS is looking for an OFFSHORE EQUIPMENT DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST L2 with experience in IMPP, IMPU, Heat and Coat processes and equipment within the Oil and Gas Industry to join our Client's project team onboard SAIPEM FDS Vessel based WORLDWIDE (CURRENTLY IN BRAZIL).”

JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Develop new/upgraded existing process equipment (for welding, NDT, FJC) to satisfy new requirements coming from projects or from market.
• Interact with all operational roles in order to catch needs and propose consequent solutions for new or upgraded equipment.
• Fully understand the issue to be solved deepening the process and equipment constraints.
• Define a range of possible solutions, interacting with colleagues and/or external suppliers.
• Perform technology scouting, that is, investigate and eventually test new technologies that could solve a specific issue.
• Fully understand the real operative conditions (available space to install/maintain, usability) in which the process equipment has to work.
• Coordinate a feasibility study if it's required or recommended.
• Supervise the installation on board of assigned equipment.

QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
• Accredited qualification or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Senior Technician with experience in IMPP, IMPU, Heat and Coat processes and equipment.
• Previous Offshore experience
• Offshore certificates (Mandatory)
• Intermediate English level spoken and written is mandatory
• Various professional and training certificates.
• Work employment certificates.
