FUNCTION: EXTRUSION MANAGER
LOCATION: FIJI ISLANDS
DURATION: PERMANENT

“TRS has a high end level international role for an experienced Extrusion Manager to assist with the startup of its new extrusion factory based in Fiji Islands.”

QUALIFICATIONS & BENEFITS:
• A four-year degree is preferred, or equivalent and applicable work-related experience.
• Experience in Blown Film Industry preferred with knowledge of shrink with a minimum experience on five layer extrusion.
• Any printing background is advantageous.
• Previous experience with Lean, SixSigma or other relevant continuous improvement methods and tools a plus.
• Previous experience with Troubleshooting processes, 5 Why, 8D or other is a plus.
• Technical training a plus; mechanical and/or electrical Industrial Safety Training a plus.
• A minimum of 5 + years of experience in a supervisory role with a strong background in five layer plus blown extrusion film or other extrusion.
• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing facility.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a changing environment with strong problem solving skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and to work on own initiative.
• Results driven, effective decision maker.
• Strong desire to train, coach and develop others to improve performance.
• Maintenance and mechanical ability to troubleshoot.
• Must be able to use the following computer programs: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Excellent verbal and written skills with the ability to communicate accurately and professionally with all levels of the organization Leadership skills.
