Field Joint Coating Technician

“TRS is looking for an experienced FIELD JOINT COATING TECHNICIAN, with experience in IMPP, IMPU, Heat and Coat processes and equipment for our International Client.”

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Ensuring the coating equipment working status during the project and project preparation, installation and start up.
• Identifying onboard all the equipment belong to the Field Joint Coating department.
• Assuring that the maintenance of the coating equipment is done as per instructions.
• Prepare and inspect pipeline joint surfaces to ensure they are clean, dry, and free from contaminants before coating application.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:
• Accredited Tertiary Qualification.
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in Pipeline Construction/Coatings, with a focus on Field Joint Coating Application.
• Experience in IMPP, IMPU, Heat and Coat processes and equipment with proven track record.
• Previous Offshore experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
