Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for routine and preventative maintenance / repair work on Turbo compressors with the client’s fleet, both local and abroad including the existing clients fleet.
- Ensure that breakdowns or any kind of inspection or repair work as required by the customer is attended to timeously.
- Perform balancing of components on balancing machine in workshops.
Ensure that all documentation is returned to job file. - Work on steam turbines, compressors, gearboxes, expanders, impellers and all associated work.
Qualifications & Skills Requirements:
- Must have relevant Trade Test (Red Seal) qualification (essential).
N3 Mechanical Engineering (advantageous).
- Practical, hands-on experience on Turbo Compressors & rotating equipment.
Min 5 years’ experience in a similar field. - Ability to dismantle equipment, inspect and report specifics.
- Onsite stripping, refurbishing, assembly and installing compressors or parts.
- Professionalism, good communication and organizational skills are necessary - good ambassador for the client.
