Job Purpose:
Provide leadership, guidance and direction to all financial-related activities of the Company to ensure effective delivery of all financial management, planning and reporting services;
Scope:
Report to the CEO, assume responsibility for all financial functions of the Company (including finance planning and budgeting, cost control, accounting, treasury management, project reviews), safeguard the Company’s assets and investments and promote its successful financial performance.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Management information and advice: Provide accurate and timely financial information and financial advice to the CEO in order to support business decisions and strategically enhance Torathuna’s financial performance and business opportunities. Work closely with the CEO and organizations to formulate the Financial strategies, policies and objectives; and develop medium/short-term plans and programs to accomplish these objectives
2. Accounting: prepare the accounts of the Companies (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow statement) on a quarterly basis as per the format requested by Company, pursuant to the Saudi Arabia laws and regulation, IFRS as adopted by SOCPA and best practice. Ensure all financial items of financial/commercial contracts are properly represented in the accounts and monitored
3. Treasury: manage the bank accounts and credit line and monitor the reconciliation with accounts. Ensure the financial probity and effective use of funds of the Company by establishing relevant procedures to deal with cash, purchasing and payment and monitor them. Adequately mitigate risks to ensure the Company’s solvency and credit worthiness. Maintain effective credit risk analysis and insurance policies.
4. Planning and budget: prepare the annual estimated budget of the company at the determined times. Control and monitor its monthly execution by providing a detailed analysis of deviation of actual v. budget. Control costs to minimize them. Contribute to the development and implementation of a robust and proficient financial planning and control system for the company. Ensure that the financial reporting is true and accurate and ensure proper reconciliation with accounting
5. Projects review: review all loan projects submitted to , and provide relevant financial analysis and KPI to help the Board to select the most credit worthy and profitable projects. Monitor the timely reimbursement of such loans and take relevant actions in case of credit risk or default.
6. Internal control and procedures: Ensure that effective financial internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with policies and procedures as well as relevant Saudi Arabian regulations and laws. Enhance the current policies and procedures as needed.
7. Board presentation: provide the board with clear and accurate financial performance and project review presentation.
8. Systems: ensure that financial IT systems and software are adapted to its activities and suggest any enhancement if required.
9. Tax: ensure that comply with all its tax obligations.
10. General: ensure that all finance services are delivered in accordance with the defined quality standards, timing and pursuant policies and procedures.
11. Ad hoc duties: Perform other relevant duties as assigned by the CEO.
Key Essentials:
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Discipline or equivalent. Additional professional certification is preferred.
2. At least (8-10) years of experience.
