Financial Controller

A global industrial and energy company, active across large-scale projects in the Energy and Metals sectors, is seeking a Financial Controller to support CCGT construction projects in Warsaw. This role focuses on cost control, financial monitoring, and performance analysis, playing a key part in ensuring efficient project delivery and overall profitability.
 

Key responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyze project costs (materials, subcontractors, labor, equipment, logistics).
• Perform variance analysis (budget vs actual vs forecast) and support cost optimization.
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning.
• Track project performance and KPIs (cost, progress, productivity).
• Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and ensure compliance with standards and controls.
• Support audits, claims, and estimate-at-completion (EAC) processes.

Requirements:

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 5+ years of controlling experience in construction, EPC, or industrial projects (energy/CCGT is a plus).
• Strong knowledge of cost control, budgeting, and forecasting in project environments.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work closely with site teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
