Heavy Equipment Mechanical Supervisor

Job profile:
To provide day to day hands-on Supervision on a shift basis of the workshop staff to ensure sufficient, clean, safe & defect free vehicles / equipment for service.



Main duties and responsibilities:

 To control & allocate the flow of work through the workshop to make the best use of staff, equipment & other sources.

 To ensure that all staff undertake their duties in compliance with company policies & procedures at all time.

 Establish & implement effective housekeeping & workshop management system such as stock control.

 Arrange for supply of materials & cost effective use of materials & equipment in the workplace.

 Ensure a safe working environment by leading on the implementation of Health & safety policy, system & procedures.

 Attend relevant internal & external meetings & provide reports to the Engineering manager as & when required.

 Reports to Engineering Manager.



Education and/or Experience:
 Bachelor degree in Mechanical engineer or equivalent.
 Excellent interpersonal skills.
 Minimum 5 years of management/Supervisory experience.
 Problem solving & decision making.
