HSE Advsior

The HSE Advisor refers to the Regional HSE Manager and supports Regional Assets. The HSE Advisor is responsible for providing independent, expert, and professional advice and guidance to the site management on all health and safety issues, actively participate in and promoting a high standard of health, safety, and environmental awareness and culture at the wind farm.

Maintain an understanding of the Offshore Windpower asset integrity management policy and strategy and relevant responsibilities of the job.

Deliverables
• To work as an impartial expert and provide professional advice and guidance to the site management on all health, safety and environmental issues and promote HSE standards at the wind farm.
Support site in:
• Investigation of incidents
• Reporting LTIs to HSE organisation in accordance with the process
• Investigating incidents according to the requirements of the safety management system
• QA of Synergi reports

Key Tasks
• Maintain the HSE system (Sherlock and Synergi) and contribute towards the development
• Engage with HSE back office to develop the Global HSE plan and strategy
• Conduct investigations on near-misses and accidents
• Follow up on incidents via Synergi
• Incident investigation, root cause analysis, Safety Inspections in accordance with the site management plan
• Participate & contribute in site HSE meetings
• Support in the execution of emergency exercises
• Write HSE site specific procedures and instructions
• Attend internal and external audits
• Contribute towards Board governance reporting on HSE
• Contributing to the site compliance to the standards that Offshore Wind Power holds
• Ensure general compliance to national laws and regulations
• Support Safety Culture Projects and others
• Be active in campaigns / tool box talks / wind day activities
• Participate in Emergency Response Plan
• Ensure the validity of own safety certificates: Global Wind Organisations Standard Basic Safety Training (BST) etc.
• Be proactive in maintaining competence level required for the role
