Here is an exciting opportunity to join an industrial services company in Kitimat, BC as a HSSE Advisor! This role requires an individual who can be responsible for administering functions of health, safety, security and environmental on site.
Job Duties:
- Coach and mentor craft on site, attend and facilitate toolbox meetings on site.
- Monitor work areas, and conduct routine safety inspections.
- Complete HSSE audits as required, complete inspection and regular reports.
- Maintain knowledge and understanding of established safety policies, procedures and practices on site.
- Submit reporting of all accident/ incident investigations on site
- Experience in a similar position, experienced in an HSSE role within a large organization.
- Health & Safety Administrator (HAS) and/ or National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO) designation required.
- Experience in industrial hygiene and environmental monitoring would be considered an asset.
- Qualification in Root Cause Analysis/ Tap Root is considered an asset.
