HVAC Engineer

HVAC Engineer required for immediate 6-month contract in Farnborough.

Duties / Deliverables
· Design and review HVAC systems and equipment and selection.
· Take a leading role in developing solutions, provide recommendations and making decisions
· Produce and self-check documentation to a high technical standard in accordance with an agreed schedule.
· Attend regular meetings and communicate with other disciplines and client
· Develop, maintain and communicate engineering designs and schedules, and support planning teams.
· Review and approve design changes from fabrication and site.
· Collate/review comments from other disciplines, project management and client on Supplier documents/drawings.
· Visit to Suppliers facilities for HVAC inspections and FAT’s.
Responsibilities
· Adhere to project standards & maintain design quality and consistency.
· Ensure project schedule is being met.
· Lead and organise multi-discipline engineering teams based globally.

This role is office based, with occasional trips overseas. This is not a commissioning or site based role.
To be considered for this role you must be:-
· Experienced in HVAC system design and commissioning
· Experienced in HVAC Package Management, including FAT and review of vendor documentation
· Strong technical communication skills.
· Able to work independently and without instruction in a fast moving and demanding environment
· Focused on delivery of high quality design, meeting project expectations.
