Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Industrial Rigger with current NCCCO certification to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient rigging of heavy equipment and materials in industrial environments, ensuring compliance with all applicable safety standards and regulations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform rigging operations using cranes, hoists, and other lifting equipment in accordance with NCCCO standards.
  • Inspect rigging equipment and accessories prior to use to ensure safety and functionality.
  • Calculate load weights and determine proper rigging techniques and configurations.
  • Communicate effectively with crane operators, signal persons, and other team members to coordinate lifts.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, load charts, and lift plans.
  • Maintain accurate records of rigging activities and equipment inspections.
  • Adhere to OSHA, ANSI, and company safety protocols at all times.
  • Assist in the setup and teardown of rigging equipment at job sites.
  • Troubleshoot rigging issues and recommend solutions to ensure safe operations.

Qualifications:

  • Current NCCCO Rigger Certification (Level I or II).
  • High school diploma or GED required; technical training or apprenticeship preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of industrial rigging experience.
  • Strong understanding of load dynamics, rigging gear, and lifting techniques.
  • Ability to work in physically demanding environments including heights, confined spaces, and varying weather conditions.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Skills:

  • Additional certifications (e.g., Signal Person, Crane Operator).
  • Experience in [specific industries like heavy industrial, manufacturing, construction, etc.].
  • Familiarity with computerized lift planning software.
