Here is an exciting opportunity in gorgeous Kitimat, British Columbia as an Insulation Construction Coordinator! You would be at work within a growing EPCM/construction firm with projects worldwide and joining a team of talented professionals all working towards one goal. This opportunity boasts longevity, a great work-life balance rotation of 14/7, and amazing accommodations. As an insulation Construction Coordinator, you will be working within the construction team to support the installation of Insulation, refractory, and fireproofing.
Key Job Duties:
- Responsible for the activities of monitoring, inspection, documenting, testing, and acceptance of completed work as outlined in the Quality Responsibility Matrix.
- Perform quality inspections for the assigned discipline and sign-off on quality records.
- Coordinate and monitor the activities of assigned contractors performing work within the Construction disciplines and ensure compliance with project safety, quality, schedule, cost, and security requirements.
- Evaluate change requests and interface with contract administrators for the initiation and development of contract modifications.
Key Requirements:
- Engineering degree/ Diploma , Refractory and Cladding Specialist or equivalent technical project experience. 5-10 years of experience in Construction Supervision.
- NACE 1 Certification required
- 10+ years of progressive Construction experience
- Experience working with ceramic fiber, refractory cement, and refractory brick
- Experience working with Thermal, Acoustic and Cryogenic
- Experience with Fireproofing for equipment, piping and steel structure.
