We are seeking an experienced administrator for Internal Sales and Workshop Administration to support both the commercial and technical sides of the business. This role is located in Johannesburg.
Job Responsibilities:
- Telephonic enquiries, email enquiries, counters sales enquiries (customer walk in) and orders from customers on Ariba, Coupa and other portals.
- Drawing up quotations on repairs, spares, following up on quotations from the workshop.
- Generate invoices as required.
- General office duties to be performed as and when required.
- Establish and maintain relationships with customers and provide assistance with problems these customers may encounter.
- Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell products and services to meet customer needs.
- Follow up on orders and quotes submitted, call on dormant customers to generate sales and reestablish relationships.
- Actively prospect and qualify new leads through various channels such as phone calls, emails, and networking.
- Prepare and present quotations to customers, negotiating terms and closing sales.
Qualifications & Skills Requirements:
- Matric Certificate.
- Applicants should be computer literate and have an excellent command of Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of Syspro is advantageous.
- Technical knowledge of Survey and Laboratory products and their application would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of customers in the industry.
- A minimum of 1 years’ experience in a similar role would be preferred.

- In-depth knowledge of repair processes and spare parts related to equipment commonly serviced.
- Ability to understand technical specifications and communicate them effectively to customers.
- Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer-focused approach with a commitment to providing exceptional service.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in order processing and documentation.
- Proactive attitude towards identifying sales opportunities and addressing customer concerns.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
