Junior Commercial Analyst

TRS are looking for a Junior Commercial Analyst to join with our client, a huge, global energy developer. This role will be situated in Rome, Italy, so ideal for locals to the area.

You will be working with the teams that are designing, building and operating some of the largest offshore wind farm projects in the world.


Contract Duration: 12-15 months
Start date: October 2020
Location: Rome
Language required: Fluent English and Italian mother tongue
Work utilization Monday -Friday

Scope of work:

Profile
• Business Administration, Economics or Finance degree, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the fields of financial analysis
• Financial modeling skills coupled with good conceptual, analytical thinking skills and attention to details
• Excellent Excel skills
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Strong interpersonal skills, acting comfortably in a cultural environment with a sense for diversity and inclusion
• Strong ability to work under high pressure and tight timelines while assuring high quality and accuracy
• Strong intellectual curiosity and passion for the renewables industry generally
Areas of responsibility
• Prepare and analyze accurate detailed monthly and variance reports
• Prepare the monthly pre-completion revenue report
• Provide support on cash flow and liquidity forecasting for remaining budgetary control and prepare Funding / Shortfall Statements
• Support the budget / annual 3-year rolling budget planning/forecast update
• Maintain and update the financial model for use towards the Lenders
• Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and financial modeling exercises
• Collateral Management
• Support on Senior Facilities Agreement Management
• Support the Owner Engineering team for Risk Assessments
