Lead Bridge Engineer

The Opportunity

Our client, an industry leader in the Engineering Consultancy sector is looking for a Bridge Engineering Lead to join their team in Edmonton or Calgary, AB. This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to further progress their careers within the Engineering industry, within Transportation & Bridge Design.


The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years in structural bridge design in a consulting environment with knowledge of both BC and Alberta Transportation regulations and codes. You are an encouraging mentor, strong at building teams and create new opportunities to grow the business.


Additional Requirements:

Civil or Structural Engineering Degree
P.Eng in BC or AB working towards P.Eng in a short period of time
Knowledge with municipal parks, transportation, and public sector
Solid supervision, coaching and mentoring background
Project management experience, proposal writing, and coordination with internal stakeholders and other offices within North America is a must for this role
Ability to interface with clients in the public sector
Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
