Lead Piping Engineer

TRS Staffing Solutions has an exciting opportunity to work on the permanent roles of an European EPC company headquartered in the Czech Republic as Piping Designer (Asst/Deputy Manager). The location will be Kolkata in West Bengal. This role will report to Lead Designer. 

Key Responsibilities:
a) Guiding a team for preparing equipment layout, Piping layout, pipe support detail, isometric drawings etc.
b) Unit piping layout of Pump House Pipe Rack, Tank Farm, Column & Heat Exchangers etc.
c) Preparation of Piping/Valve material Specification.
d) Technical Bid Evaluation for Procurement.
e) Having thorough knowledge of ASME/IS material and Pipe supports including Spring Hanger.
f) Inter discipline coordination, Vendor drawing review, coordination with client and consultant.
g) Being conversant with piping Code & Standards. (ASME, API, IS, IBR etc.)
h) Having experience of reviewing 3D models using Navisworks or equivalents essential.
i)Having knowledge in piping flexibility & support stress for finalization of critical line routing.
j) Preparing data sheets of special piping items.

Qualification & Experience:
BE/BTech Mech with 10-15 years of experience preferably in Indian Steel/Oil & Gas industry.
