The overall duties of an LMS Administrator Include:
- Serve as the subject matter expert for the Brainier learning management system.
- Create and maintain LMS user profiles, roles, groups, assignments, objects, system notifications, and reports.
- Upload, deploy, and maintain all objects and content hosted in the LMS.
- Maintain current workflows and implement/modify systems to increase functionality.
- Primary point of contact for LMS user support and troubleshooting LMS technical issues.
- Serve as point of escalation for support issues, which may include interaction with LMS vendor and other internal departments.
- Collaborate with L&D Manager to create and maintain instructional materials for learners and instructors.
- Stay up to date on LMS changes, new features, or system upgrades and communicate to the L&D team and internal stakeholders as they occur.
- Configure LMS system settings.
- Assist with the management and maintenance of applications integrated with the LMS.
- Identify and communicate opportunities for process and quality improvements.
- Provide feedback on usage, defects, and suggested enhancements.
- Maintain digital libraries of training records, e-learning content, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with established criteria.
- Maintain distribution lists, reports, and training metrics.
- Update and distribute standard communications to various internal audiences.
- Test software and e-learning content as needed.
- Provide support for special projects or in-person training events as needed.
- Assume personal responsibility for projects as assigned and follow-through to completion.
- Must adhere to all OSHA safety rules and regulations.

Education and Technology:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, education, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Experience using and managing Learning Management Systems
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Preferred:
- Experience with project management and managing multiple, simultaneous tasks
- Experience with Microsoft 365, Teams
- Familiarity with course design and development
