We are currently seeking an experienced Senior HVAC Engineer to support the HVAC scope of a major brownfield industrial project in the Netherlands. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining, planning, and executing HVAC engineering activities in close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, stakeholders, and client representatives. This role reports to the Mechanical Lead Engineer.
- Prepare and validate input for permit application packages, including BENG (Bijna Energie Neutrale Gebouwen) calculations and other regulatory documentation.
- Perform detailed energy performance assessments and HVAC-related calculations in compliance with Dutch legislation.
- Collaborate with civil, structural, and architectural teams to ensure integrated and compliant system designs.
Basic Job Requirements:
- Minimum BSc in Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 10 years of HVAC engineering experience.
- Familiar with Dutch legislation and standards like Bouwbesluit and NEN’s.
- Experience in the preparation of input for permit application packages (including BENG).
- Fluent in Dutch and English both verbal and written.
