PROJECT ENGINEERING MANAGER (m/f/d)

We are looking for one of the biggest world-wide listed companies for engineering, procurement, construction (EPC) and maintenance for a Project Engineering Manager (m/f/d) for permanent employment in Mannheim, Germany.

You will have knowledge and/or experience of the following:

The role of the Project Engineering Manager is a key leadership role, ensuring the effective delivery of
the client´s projects in a safe and efficient manner and leading the Engineering team in a manner which
ensures client satisfaction and meets the client’s objective.

Reports to: Project Director

Detailed responsibilities:

The Project Engineering Manager has total responsibility of managing the Engineering teams. In particular the Engineering Manager is responsible for:

 Safety Leadership
 Coordination between engineering disciplines
 Delivery of engineering deliverables in right quality and within budget and time
 Assembling, leading and managing the engineering disciplines
 Coordination between engineering and procurement

The Engineering Manager leads the implementation of the Agreement / Contract to ensure that the engineering of a project is planned, designed and procured within the time, cost, quality and performance specifications agreed with the Client. The Project Engineering Manager monitors progress and performance of the disciplines.

Depending on size of the project, the Project Engineering Manager might represent the company when dealing with it´s clients, as well as with other bodies such as contractors and sub-consultants.

Requirements:

 10+ Years Experience in Engineering management in the oil & gas industry, providing steer to a multidiscipline engineering team;

 BS degree and significant technical expertise (10+ year) in the oil and gas industry;

 Capable to handle total project size of TIC 10MM€ or manage a multidisciplinary
engineering team for project size of 40.000 manhours;

 Strong communication skills;

 Possess a good level of competency in project management and the ability to identify and
analyze potential problems, provide proper solutions and / or avoid them;

 Strong leadership skills with detailed familiarity with project management tools and
techniques and effective team management and proven success;

 Multi-office project experience is a pre;

 Languages: Fluent German both written and spoken and advanced English are a must!
