Our client, a leading EPCM with projects worldwide, is seeking a Lodging HSE Advisor to join their team in Kitimat, BC. The ideal candidate will have within Lodging(S) to create and sustain a productive work culture and safe work environment in order to avoid and minimize HSE related problems.

 

Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance, assistance and advice to the vendor, and Company organizations through the interpretation of Company HSE practices and procedures in relation to client requirements and current legislation and regulations
- Develop, customize, and supervise the implementation of HSE programs, including project site-based HSE orientation, recognition, and awards programs, to all levels of project staff to promote a balance between productivity and the safety of project staff and visitors in accordance with applicable laws and regulations

 

Qualifications:
- Combination of experience and accredited education: 8 – 10 yrs of Safety, Industrial relations and/or lodging operations experience within a Remote Lodging Environment, large scale project
- Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders
