4 days on 4 days off for 4 cycles on 1st, then switch to 3rd for same


Job Title
Spin Creel Operator

Safe operation of cutter and baler per SOC. The operator is responsible for the cutter and baler operations. Responsible for grading fiber, daily packing material changing, daily routine, assist the stretch operator as needed.

Minimum Criteria:
• Be able to operate fork-lift.
• Be able to read and write and perform all duties by SOP's.
• Be able to perform mathematical equations.
• Be able to operate hoist.
• Have basic computer skills for data entry.

• Attend and actively participate in all required training.

• Make the right choices every day. Ask for help if the right choices are not clear.
• Follow all safety policies, procedures and instructions. Also, ensure that all others in the area are following these policies, procedures, and instructions.

• Follow approved quality procedures at all times to insure a proper level of product is produced for customers.

• Maintain a clean and orderly work area, and complete assigned housekeeping duties according to work instructions as instructed by Supervision or Senior lead Operator.

Specific Duties

• Ensure the Cutters are running according to Standard Operating Conditions (SOC).
• Removal of waste from stretch area.
• Quality and grading the fiber to correct Grade.
• Assist with Stretch Line start up and shutdown.
• Daily packing material changes
• All baler functions.
• Complete Daily routines.
• Prepare samples for lab.
• Perform any special instructions and/or duties as specified by management.
• Look for opportunities to improve machine efficiency, improve quality, and reduce waste.
