Hourly Rate: $24-28/hr depending on experience and qualification
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate light duty equipment in a safe and efficient way to complete duties such as plumbing, road maintenance, snow removal, culvert cleaning, landscaping, vents cleaning, etc.
• Assist with event preparation and wrap-ups by setting up and/or tearing down equipment and furniture.
• Carry out upkeeping, simple maintenance and repair duties related to building, equipment, and facilities.
• Provide labor assistance to trade personnel when requested.
• Conduct minimal/basic electrical and plumbing tasks.
• Perform other related duties as required.
Key Requirements:
• Must have completed grade 12 education, post-secondary education is preferred.
• Must have valid BC Driver’s license.
• Must have experience in doing basic plumbing tasks
• Willing to work in outdoor environments.
• Able to do some heavy lifting.
• Available to work occasionally on weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Ability to listen and follow instructions accurately.
• Good interpersonal skills and communication skills.
• Landscaping experience would be a great asset.
• Previous experience working in First Nations community is a great asset.
