TRS is seeking a dedicated professional to join one of the premier EPC firms in India. This role is pivotal in maintaining the highest standards of quality across our client's real estate project sites. This is on 1 year contract.
Job Title: Manager Quantity Surveyor
Location: Ahmedabad
Qualifications:
- Experience: 8-12 years in the field
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (B.E/B.Tech)
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage the Bill of Quantities (BOQ), project estimation, and costing.
- Conduct regular reviews, preparation, and distribution of Daily Labor Reports (DLR) and Daily Progress Reports (DPR).
- Manage the tender process for various services including Civil, MEP, Landscaping, and Interior works.
- Perform rate analysis and prepare comparative statements for tender evaluation.
- Ensure accurate verification of contractor and vendor bills.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to coordinate purchases and change orders for non-tender (NT) and variation items, including price variation calculations.
- Oversee the review of Bar Bending Schedules and perform reconciliation for basic rate items.
- Create and manage billing schedules and cash flow projections.
- Handle tracker management, invoicing, and monitoring of cash flow reports.
- Provide support and liaison with clients, contractors, and consultants for drawing requirements and approvals.
- Organize and lead review meetings with contractors and consultants.
- Maintain comprehensive project details and data management on One Drive.
- Work closely with the Planning Engineer, Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QAQC), and Safety teams.
- Schedule and track long lead items, ensuring timely submission of cash flow reports.
- Perform quantity take-offs from Good for Construction (GFC) drawings.
- Issue work orders to subcontractors and prepare reconciliation reports for materials.
- Estimate material requirements based on site needs or schedules.
- Develop detailed cost estimates and implement cost control procedures.
